The report concerns recent controversial remarks Malala made about the death of the first family's children.

• Mwangi stated he would remain at the DCI offices until Malala is arrested, viewing the remarks as disrespectful to the office of the president.

• Malala's controversial statement suggested that he would cause President Ruto the same pain as parents who lost children in extrajudicial killings, asking, "Is it 2, 5, or 10 million? As Kenyans, we want to fundraise that amount, Ksh10 million, then give it to you, your child dies, and you see whether it will be enough compensation for a dead child.’’
