A tragic incident in Sega town saw a teacher couple, Meshack Ongulo and his wife Modesta Mwakali, die from electrocution at their home late Monday night. The couple reportedly came into contact with a live electrical cable near their bathroom.

• Both victims were teachers in the Sega area.
• According to North Ugenya Location Chief George Francis Osoro, Modesta was first electrocuted in the bathroom, followed by her husband who rushed to her aid.
• Neighbors found the couple deceased inside their compound and police moved their bodies to a private morgue.
