The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is set to auction assets belonging to major corporations, including PepsiCo, Victoria Commercial Bank, and Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC), due to their prolonged stay in customs warehouses.

• These goods, which include beverages, banking equipment, and electrical supplies, had remained uncollected beyond legally stipulated timelines.
• The auction is being conducted under the powers conferred by Section 42 of the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004.
• Importers have until the date of sale to clear their consignments.
