Kenya's President William Ruto is scheduled to hold high-level talks with His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, who is on his first official visit to Kenya since assuming his role as Head of the Ismaili community. Prince Rahim arrived in Kenya on Monday, August 25, for a three-day visit at President Ruto's invitation, focusing on strengthening cooperation between Kenya and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).

• The AKDN has significantly impacted Kenya's healthcare, education, media, economic empowerment, and environmental stewardship sectors.
• President Ruto previously awarded Prince Rahim the Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart (C.G.H.) and Princess Zahra Aga Khan the Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (E.G.H.) for their distinguished service through the AKDN.
