• President Ruto committed to ensuring the Kiambu region benefits from his government, promising 30 modern markets at a cost of Ksh.4.5 billion and 15,000 housing units totaling Ksh.30 billion.
• He also announced a new 10,000-seater stadium in Thika, completion of 240km Mau Mau roads in Kiambu, dualing the Muthaiga-Ndumberi road at Ksh.22 billion, and allocating Ksh.20 billion for the Northern Bypass.
