TikTok has officially launched its 'TikTok for Artists' platform in Kenya, providing musicians with advanced tools to track their performance and promote their work. The platform, which became available on Wednesday, August 27, is designed exclusively for artists with verified accounts, offering comprehensive analytics and engagement insights.

• The platform provides daily-updated dashboards showing song performance analytics (views, posts, creator engagements), post performance (views, likes, comments, shares, completion rates), and follower insights (gender, age, language breakdown).
• Toyin Mustapha, Head of Music Partnerships, United Kingdom, Ireland and Sub-Saharan Africa at TikTok, stated that this expansion will bolster TikTok's promotion of African music.
• The launch in Kenya adds it to a growing list of countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Finland, joining the 25 other nations where it was initially rolled out in June.
