Police in Kuria West, Migori County, are searching for a man accused of the rape and murder of his 50-year-old mother-in-law on Wednesday. The suspect reportedly stormed the victim's home at midnight after his wife allegedly left due to marital issues.

• Two children were also injured in the night attack and have been referred to Migori Level Four Hospital.
• Kuria West sub-county police commander Reuben Kemboi stated that the suspect’s wife was not at home during the incident.
• The victim's house was also allegedly torched by the suspect.
