The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), in collaboration with Loisaba Conservancy, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, and with support from Sharjah Safari, has successfully translocated 10 southern white rhinos to Loisaba Conservancy.

• 10 southern white rhinos were moved from Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and Meru National Park over a 10-day operation.
• Director General, Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), Prof. Erustus Kanga stated this translocation aligns with Kenya’s national vision for rhino population management.
• Loisaba Conservancy now hosts both black and white rhinos, joining Kenya’s expanding network of white rhino sanctuaries.
