Two-time 800m World Champion Billy Konchellah has been appointed to the Board of the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya, one of several recent government appointments announced by various Cabinet Secretaries.

• Konchellah's appointment by Sports CS Salim Mvurya is for three years, effective August 29.
• Other appointments include Winnie Beauttah to the National Cereals and Produce Board, and several individuals to the Bandari Maritime Academy and Kenya Fisheries Service.
• Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen extended the declaration of parts of Tana River County as security-disturbed for an additional 60 days.
