More than 40 leading African venture capital fund managers will participate in the "Africa Venture Finance Programme" at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School from September 1–5, 2025. The program, in its fourth edition, aims to strengthen Africa's venture capital landscape and support the growth of technology and tech-enabled companies, including fostering dialogue with Development Finance Institutions.
- Over 150 of Africa's most relevant venture capital fund managers will have participated in the program following this edition.
- Organized by EIB Global and supported by AfricaGrow, the program is tailored for fund managers investing on the African continent.
- Africa receives only 1% to 2% of global venture capital despite representing 18% of the world’s population.
- The Boost Africa initiative has supported over 70 companies and mobilized over €380 million in capital for startups.
