The National Police Service (NPS) has announced major traffic disruptions and road closures along Thika Road and surrounding areas in Nairobi from 6 am on Friday, September 5.

• The disruptions are due to the upcoming Kenya vs Gambia World Cup Qualifier match at Moi International Stadium, Kasarani.
• The NPS has advised motorists to use alternative routes and cooperate with officers, with roadblocks planned at Muthaiga and Ruiru interchanges.
• Specific alternative routes have been provided for travel between Nairobi CBD, Thika Road destinations (Juja, Ruiru, Thika Town), Mwiki, and Githurai.
