This message was delivered during a phone call between Kenya's Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau on Thursday, September 4.

• Corporal Kennedy Mutuku Nzuve died in a road accident on August 31, 2025, in Pétion-Ville, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, while part of the Multinational Security Support (MSS) Mission.
• The phone call between Musalia Mudavadi and Christopher Landau also focused on efforts to restore peace and security in Haiti and the international community's support for the MSS.
• The incident involved two armoured vehicles during a recovery operation, resulting in eight MSS officers sustaining injuries, with three in critical condition.
