• Kenya Met predicts moderate to heavy downpours in the Highlands West and East of the Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, and Northwest, impacting counties like Kisumu, Nakuru, and Eldoret.
• The meteorological department specifically singled out Nairobi, along with counties such as Nyandarua and Meru, for moderate rains starting in the afternoon, with intensity expected to peak on Saturday, September 6.
• Nights are also predicted to be very cold, with temperatures potentially dropping to 5°C in areas including Nairobi, Nyeri, and Kisumu, and strong southerly winds are anticipated over the Coast and other regions.
