Police in Nairobi have arrested 214 suspects as part of a crime crackdown in the Central Business District (CBD). This operation follows an order from Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to intensify efforts against muggings.

• 214 suspects were arrested and are being processed for arraignment.
• George Seda, the Nairobi County Police Commander, also issued a warning to TikTok content creators for exploiting security incidents for "clout."
