The National Land Commission (NLC) has gazetted the reservation of 46.6 acres of public land for educational and health facilities in Kiambu and Uasin Gishu counties. This allocation includes land for Lari Vocational College, Kinyogori High School, and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH).

• A total of 46.6 acres of public land has been reserved across the two counties.
• NLC Chairman, Gershom Otachi, confirmed conditions for land use including strict adherence to purpose and environmental conservation.
• Institutions must submit a development and management plan within 180 days, ensuring at least 10 percent tree cover and compliance with environmental impact assessments, or risk revocation of the reservation.
