The Ministry of Gender, Culture and Children Services has announced the disbursement of Kshs. 1.78 billion for the June and July 2025 Inua Jamii programme, specifically for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC). Starting this week, 445,940 beneficiaries will receive Kshs. 4,000 each to cover the two months of stipends.

• A total of Kshs. 1.78 billion has been allocated for the Inua Jamii CT-OVC programme.
• Principal Secretary, State Department for Children Services, Carren Ageng'o, confirmed that 445,940 beneficiaries will receive Kshs. 4,000 each.
• Payments commenced on Monday, September 8, 2025, with each household receiving Kshs. 2,000 per month for two months.
• The delay in payment was attributed to the newly established State Department for Children Services.
