The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a warning to residents across various regions of Kenya to prepare for continued rain and chilly conditions this week, from Tuesday, September 9, to Saturday, September 13.
- Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, and the Rift Valley are expected to experience continued rainfall.
- Regions like Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka, and Nairobi counties will see morning sunny intervals and afternoon showers, with maximum temperatures reaching 29°C and minimums dropping to 7°C.
- Coastal counties including Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, Kwale, and Tana River County may experience showers on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with maximum temperatures around 31°C and minimums at 20°C.
- Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo counties are forecasted to have day-long sunny conditions with maximum temperatures of 37°C and minimums of 14°C.
