Procurement experts are supporting the rollout of Kenya's new Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system, despite protests from small-scale suppliers facing challenges with its implementation. The National Treasury, in partnership with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM), is conducting a crash training program for public officers to enhance transparency, accountability, and cost efficiency in public procurement.
