A Nairobi court has granted a conditional injunction to local medical supplies distributor Ikigai Health Kenya Limited in its dispute with German pharmaceutical giant B. Braun and its subsidiaries. The ruling prevents B. Braun from cutting off critical medical supplies and dealing directly with Ikigai Health's clients, provided specific financial conditions are met.

• Ikigai Health Kenya Limited must pay Ksh. 31.5 million, 50% of the disputed debt, within 14 days.
• The dispute arose after Ikigai Health Kenya Limited sought to stop B. Braun from withholding supplies and directly engaging hospitals like The Nairobi Hospital and Aga Khan University Hospital.
• B. Braun Medical Kenya Limited argued that Ikigai Health owed them Ksh. 71.3 million in unpaid dues, stating the debt could escalate to over Ksh. 150 million.
• Lady Justice Josephine Wambua Mongare also ordered the release of withheld medical machines destined for Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.
