The Kenya Internet Exchange Point (KIXP) has expanded its presence to iColo’s Mombasa Two (MBA2) data center in Nyali, a move expected to significantly improve internet performance and strengthen the digital ecosystem along Kenya’s Coast and the broader East African region. This expansion by KIXP, operated by the Technology Service Providers of Kenya (TESPOK), allows local exchange of internet traffic, reducing reliance on international routes.
