Safaricom has introduced two new packages, Ofa Ya Boda Boda and Bundle Ya Deree, specifically designed for boda boda operators and cab drivers in Kenya.

• These propositions offer affordable voice and data bundles, free access to navigation and ride-hailing apps, and subsidized insurance.
• The packages aim to improve the financial security and lower operating costs for these transport workers, who contribute significantly to Kenya's economy, with the sector contributing 4.4 percent to GDP in 2024.
• Drivers using Bundle Ya Deree will also receive fuel discounts every Friday at Shell outlets through a partnership with Vivo Energy.
