Police in Nandi County are pursuing a suspect after seizing 1,350 litres of suspected ethanol following a roadblock evasion. The incident occurred on Friday, September 12, when a driver made a U-turn to avoid officers and later abandoned his vehicle.

• 1,350 litres of liquid suspected to be ethanol were recovered in 45 jerricans.
• The suspect evaded officers from Ndurio Police Post in a white Toyota Harrier.
• In a separate incident, Bura Police Station in Tana River County arrested two suspects with 40 litres of illicit brew each.
