Kenyans can now register their biometric data for smart driving licenses at 15 Huduma Centres nationwide, following an agreement between Huduma Kenya and the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA). This initiative aims to streamline the process of acquiring the new chip-enabled licenses.

• 15 Huduma Centres including GPO (Nairobi), Mombasa, and Kisumu, will offer biometric registration.
• The smart driving license replaces traditional paper licenses, storing driver information on a secure chip linked to NTSA's TIMS portal.
• Huduma Kenya recently announced that 57,444 driving licenses, 22,524 birth certificates, and 82,506 identification cards are ready for collection at their 59 centers nationwide.
