Samsung has officially rolled out its stable One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update after months of beta testing, coincidently on the same day Apple released its new OS lineup. The update brings significant AI-powered features and customization upgrades across various Samsung Galaxy devices.
- The rollout began on September 15, with the Galaxy S25 series receiving the update first.
 - Key new features include Now Bar & Now Brief for real-time activity and personalized assistance, and Knox security upgrades like KEEP (Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection).
 - The update emphasizes AI integration throughout the system, with features like enhanced Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and AI-driven multi-window tools.
 - Eligible Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and other Galaxy phones and tablets are expected to receive the update before December 2025.
