The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for rainfall across several parts of Kenya this week, specifically from September 16 to 22, despite many regions experiencing sunny and dry conditions.

• Showers are anticipated in areas including the Central Highlands (Nairobi), Lake Victoria Basin, Rift Valley, Western Kenya, and the Coast.
• The Kenya Meteorological Department is the organization providing this weather outlook.
• Counties such as Nyeri, Nyandarua, Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Kwale, and Kilifi could receive rainfall exceeding 100mm.
• Daytime temperatures are projected to exceed 30°C in Coastal, North-eastern, and North-western Kenya, while night temperatures may drop below 10°C in the Central Highlands, Central Rift Valley, and Mt. Kilimanjaro regions.
• Strong southerly to south-easterly winds, exceeding 25 knots (12.86 m/s), are also warned for Kenya’s Coast, territorial waters, South-eastern lowlands, North-eastern, and North-western regions.
