Microsoft has announced the return of Xbox Game Camp Africa for its third year, a 12-week program aimed at fostering African game development, commencing on December 4, 2025, in Cape Town, South Africa.

• Since its inception, Xbox Game Camp Africa has engaged over 1,900 new-to-industry game creators on the continent.
• The initiative is organized in partnership with ID@Xbox’s Developer Acceleration Program (DAP).
• Kunta Content, a Kenyan studio, is a notable success story, with their debut game Hiru originating from their participation in the program, showcasing environments inspired by African landscapes.
