The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has reaffirmed its commitment to conducting transparent and credible by-elections for 24 seats nationwide on November 27, 2025. Chairperson Edung Ethekon met with Returning Officers to review operational and logistical readiness, emphasizing the high expectations and intense scrutiny facing the commission.

• 24 by-elections will be held, including the Baringo senatorial race, six parliamentary, and seventeen county assembly positions.
