Kenya has been re-elected for a four-year term to the Postal Operations Council (POC) of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), a UN agency that sets global postal standards. This re-election occurred at the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

• Kenya retains its place in the 48-member POC, which is the UPU’s technical and operational decision-making body.
• The Kenyan delegation was led by ICT and Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo.
• The Dubai Congress also adopted the Dubai Postal Strategy, a blueprint for the next four years focusing on improving service quality, digital transformation, and sustainability.
