The prosecution has concluded its case against controversial pastor Paul Nthenge Mackenzie and co-accused in the Shakahola massacre, where they face charges of child torture.

• 76 witnesses testified and over 100 exhibits were presented in court.
• Paul Nthenge Mackenzie, also known as Mtumishi, Nabii, and Papaa, is accused of torturing minors with sticks and thorny branches between 2020 and 2023 in Kilifi County.
• Among the exhibits were photographs, videos from Shakahola, and WhatsApp communications. The case will reconvene on October 14, 2025.
