The inaugural Nanyuki Open, a new addition to the NCBA Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) circuit, is set to begin tomorrow at Nanyuki Sports Club. This tournament will draw Kenya's top amateur golfers, including recent champions and leading contenders, to vie for vital ranking points.

• Leading the field is Elvis Muigua, fresh off victories at the Malindi Open-Vasco Da Gama Cup and Diani Beach Masters.
• Notable challengers include John Lejirma, known as “Kenya One,” and Michael Karanga, a perennial contender and Muigua's mentor.
• Also competing is Isaac Makhoha, who recently secured victory at the Railway Invitational.
