The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has allocated Ksh 20 million for the permanent removal of the illegally demolished Coptic Roundabout on the Kakamega-Kisumu Road. A central road median will be constructed to replace the former roundabout, which was removed after a tragic accident claimed twenty-seven lives in August 2025.
