A tragic head-on collision near Kikopey, Gilgil, along the Nakuru–Nairobi highway resulted in the deaths of 13 people on a Sunday afternoon. Three others, including two children, were seriously injured in the crash involving a 14-seater PSV and a semi-trailer truck.
