The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) has directed 697 medical interns to collect redeployment letters from the Ministry of Health after a four-month strike in Kiambu County prevented them from starting their programs. This action follows a warning to Kiambu County Governor Kimani Wamatangi that interns would be moved if the industrial dispute was not resolved by September 15, 2025.
