The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO) has finished restoring the Loiyangalani–Suswa 400kV double circuit transmission line, allowing for full power evacuation from the Lake Turkana Wind Power plant.

• The restoration involved the design, supply, and erection of six new towers near Longonot.
• KETRACO acting MD Kipkemoi Kibias stated that both circuits being energized ensures N-1 contingency, reducing outage risks.
• The project was carried out by Elemech Engineering.
