• He specifically cautioned against fielding a candidate from the Mt. Kenya region, stating it would strengthen Ruto's influence and divide the opposition, potentially securing Ruto "another 15 years in State House."
• Former Interior CS Fred Matiang'i is reportedly a frontrunner for the Jubilee Party's presidential ticket, with Kioni indicating Jubilee stands with him due to perceived unfair treatment within the broader opposition.
