Kasipul parliamentary aspirant, Newton Ogada, is demanding a repeat of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party nominations, alleging widespread irregularities and violence during last week's exercise.

• Ogada claims the victor, Boyd Were, garnered 18,210 votes, which he alleges is inflated given an estimated voter turnout of less than 7,000.
• Ogada cited instances of hired goons damaging vehicles and marking ballot papers in constituencies across Kasipul.
• The aspirant is urging the ODM leadership to investigate the matter and implement reforms to prevent future occurrences.
