The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has issued a 31-day notice for customs agents, transporters, and operators of bonded warehouses, Manufacture Under Bond (MUB), and transit godowns to renew their licenses expiring on December 31, 2025. Applications must be submitted by October 31, 2025.
- Customs Agents must apply via the Integrated Customs Management System (iCMS), submitting a form C20, current CR12/CR13, valid tax compliance certificate, Certificate of Bond and debt clearance, previous C21 license, and a KIFWA clearance certificate.
- Transporters of transit goods and other customs-controlled goods need to renew C28 and C40 licenses, providing vehicle logbooks, valid insurance, and paying a compulsory license fee of $200 (Ksh25,873) per license at KRA regional offices.
- Operators of bonded warehouses, MUB, and transit godowns must submit a copy of their valid 2025 license, relevant security bonds, current CR12, title/lease agreement, tax compliance certificates for both the company and directors, 2024 audited annual accounts, and a C18.
