Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba issued a stern warning to teachers regarding exam integrity ahead of the upcoming Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, emphasizing the importance of fair and credible assessments.

• 1,130,669 students will sit for the inaugural KJSEA, while 996,078 will take the KCSE.
• The examinations, including KJSEA and Kenya Pre-Vocational Level Education Assessment (KPLEA), will run for nine days from October 27 to November 6.
• Measures to curb cheating include personalized exam papers, confiscation of mobile phones, social media surveillance, and the establishment of special courts to prosecute offenders.
