Police in Kinoo, Kiambu County, rescued a Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officer who had been abducted, tied up, and blindfolded by suspected gang robbers. The rescue occurred on October 6, 2025, after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.

• The KWS officer was found in the vehicle's boot and reported that money was stolen from his wallet.
