Motorists were stranded on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on Friday, October 10, 2025, following an early morning accident at Timboroa Forest involving a private vehicle and a lorry. This incident came shortly after another crash on Thursday night along Mombasa Road.

Both the Timboroa and Mombasa Road accidents reportedly had no casualties.
The Road Safety Association of Kenya (RSAK), through its chairperson David Kiarie, has called for the revocation of all driving licenses issued by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) in the past six years.
Video footage of the Timboroa crash showed the private car suffered severe damage, while the lorry sustained minimal damage.
