Kenya, through Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, has urged the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) to integrate peace, security, and trade, warning that instability undermines economic growth. Speaking at a COMESA high-level meeting, Mudavadi outlined crucial proposals to strengthen the bloc's future strategies.

• Kenya proposed expanding COMESA's Early Warning System (COMWARN) to cover emerging risks like climate change, cyber threats, and misinformation, advocating for stronger mechanisms to translate early warnings into early action.
