This collaboration will channel surplus food from all 31 Carrefour outlets to thousands of needy households through various institutions.

In 2023, Food Bank Kenya recovered over 900 tons of food, diverting it from landfills and redistributing it.
John Gathongo, Executive Director of Food Bank Kenya, stated the goal is to bridge the gap between food waste and hunger.
The initiative has significantly improved attendance and academic performance at schools like Brilliant Angels Education Centre in Nairobi, increasing enrollment from 163 to 326 learners.
