The High Court in Uganda has ordered the Ugandan government to produce missing Kenyan activists Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo within seven days. The two were reportedly abducted by suspected security officers in Kampala, Uganda, two weeks ago, sparking outrage from human rights organizations and appeals for action from the Kenyan government.

• A Ugandan High Court Justice, Simon Peter Kinobe, issued the order for the production of Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, whether dead or alive.
• Martha Karua, leader of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP), demanded action from President William Ruto, accusing his administration of colluding and calling for the resignation of Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and his Principal Secretary Korir Sing’Oei.
• Activists, led by Kelvin Simba, plan to hold demonstrations across Kenya starting Thursday, October 16, to pressure both governments to act on the abductions.
