Over 100 gamers from across the region are set to compete in the FC 26 East Africa Tournament in Naivasha this weekend. The event, organized by Rangers Kenya in partnership with Kili Games Tanzania, boasts a prize pool of Sh280,000.

• The overall winner of the tournament will receive a top prize of Sh90,000.
• Kenya's top-ranked gamer, Joash Ogutu (known as Jojo Depay), will headline the event alongside his Rangers Esports teammates Moses Thumbi and Vincent Odinga.
• Competitors from Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, and Nigeria have confirmed their participation, indicating stiff regional competition.
• Mark Libabu, Director of Rangers Esports, highlighted the growth of gaming as a professional sport, enabling players to build careers, while Caroline Nyambura (Mama Selina), Tournament Director, emphasized the event's role in creating opportunities for youth.
