Kenya Airways (KQ) has increased and upgraded flights to Kisumu International Airport to meet high travel demand ahead of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s burial on Sunday.
- KQ added three extra flights and upgraded five others on the Nairobi–Kisumu route between Friday and Monday.
- The national carrier stated that two additional flights, KQ656 and KQ658, will depart for Kisumu on Friday, and an extra flight, KQ650, on Saturday.
- A return flight from Nairobi to Kisumu is currently priced at about Sh25,160 due to the surge in demand.
