The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has revoked 155 service provider licenses under the authority of the Kenya Information and Communications Act, effective seven days from a October 16 gazette notice. This regulatory sweep impacts a wide range of communication services.

A total of 155 licenses were revoked.
The affected organizations include 58 Application Service Providers (ASPs), 19 Network Facilities Providers (NFPs), and 78 Content Service Providers (CSPs).
The CA also announced applications for new commercial communication licenses, inviting public objections within a specified period.
