Police in Muhoroni, Kisumu County, are searching for eight individuals who carjacked a public service vehicle. The robbers posed as mourners returning from former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's burial to drug and abandon the driver before stealing the matatu and his belongings.

The driver, identified as Francis Ochieng Oduor, was drugged and dumped along Awasi-Chemelil Road.
The gang, consisting of five men and three women, stole a Nissan Hiace with registration number KCT 176R.
They also took a mobile phone and Ksh.16,000 from the driver.
