The 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations commence today across Kenya, with the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) confirming all preparations are in place for a transparent process.

A total of 996,078 students will undertake the KCSE exams.
KNEC Chief Executive Officer David Njengere confirmed the increased number of storage containers for examination materials from 617 last year to 642.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba warned of lawful action against anyone involved in exam malpractice.
