The Tharaka Fund Account Manager is facing scrutiny from Members of Parliament over the missing title deed for the land on which the constituency’s NG-CDF offices stand, alongside unconfirmed asset values and unprocedural procurement. These issues emerged during a review of audit queries spanning from 2013/14 to 2022/23.

• The Decentralised Funds Accounts Committee, chaired by Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi, questioned the manager.
• The Chuka-Igambang'ombe constituency manager was also challenged on unprocedural procurement and project implementation delays, which he attributed to the election cycle, a claim rejected by Webuye East MP Martin Wanyonyi and Meru MP Dorothy Muthoni.
• A follow-up meeting is scheduled for next week, requiring both constituencies' managers to present detailed documents including Bills of Quantities (BQs), procurement documents, and completion certificates.
