Asset financing firm Mogo Auto Limited is facing a representative lawsuit over alleged predatory lending practices, including unfair loan terms and hidden charges, which three Kenyans claim have caused financial hardship for thousands of borrowers.

• The lawsuit, filed by Caroline Nderitu, Wilson Mbogo Gikonyo, and Joseph Muraya Wangari, seeks to declare Mogo's loan agreements unconscionable and halt further repossessions.
• Mogo Auto Limited was previously fined Sh10.8 million in October 2024 by the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) for "false, misleading, and unconscionable lending."
• The court has set the matter for mention on December 15, 2025, directing parties to respond within 15 days.
